It seems like this is something we all knew intuitively, but now it’s official: On a cost-per-power basis, expensive batteries and cheap batteries are about equal. Sure, you’ll replace the cheap ones more often, but you can spread out the financial impact of your battery-shopping.
Off to the dollar store! I could also use one of those weirdly small boxes of Hamburger Helper!
